A few years ago I was watching TLK2 with the subtitles on and noticed a rather blatant error... see for yourself...



I dont know what happened to the quality (it's a cap I took a long time ago) but still...

Have any of you seen this? I was pretty darn surprised!

Typo.... fail for Disney

Kova's mighty roar? lol just a plain typo.

I have never seen that, it must be a simple mistake by the subtitle-writer person.

I never saw that one, this is just a mistake that the subtitle-writer must did, if this images is from the VHS version, no wonder, in thoses time they could do any mistake at the moment of writing the subtitles

lol, reminds me of the subtitles-translations in a version of Star Wars episode III. They translated Darth Vader's scream of NOOOOO into chinese, and then used the chinese translation to do english subtitles... it came out "DO NOT WANT!" but this looks more like a straight typo unless it's in another language too.

that's not subtitles, it's sing-along text...which makes it all the worse!

I took some screengrabs myself the second I saw this thread:

but if you notice, the sing-along text looks like some crappy GIF type text. rather sloppy and low quality for Disney I could do better at it myself lol. so it's really rather sad that Disney made this screw-up in it too.
