Anyways, the fact that the show doesn't have a thread of it's own is proof that it's dying out. I know there's a lot of people who hate it, and I can understand that, but I think it still has enough fans to warrant a thread. I just brought this up on the feedback section and am waiting to hear back.

There were a LOT of shots of Simba like that. Personally I liked 'em. Shows he's still a lion despite all the anthromorphic shifts.

But of course---this episode was a classic! I wish there were more like it. Having the hyenas star as incompetent predators was a really good idea and one that I would love to see used more.

Unfortunately, the legend is this show was taken over by a completely different production team which led to it's cancellation.

I'd probably like the timon and pumbaa show a lot more now than I did as a kid. Too bad disney doesn't like releasing a lot of their old tv toons on dvd.
