Why does this person think that Mufasa mated with Sarafina? >.> Nala's father is unknown. Scar wasn't Kovu's father.

Non-hardcore fans tend to jump to this conclusion a lot. As already said, Nala's father is unknown and Nuka specifically said that Scar wasn't Kovu's father. People need to pay attention. :p

Given how actual lion prides operate with the presiding male lion mating with all the lionesses and trying to apply this to the movie (with anthropomorphic characters) can be one reason why people could to conclude Mufasa is Nala's father. Stating Kovu's father is Scar is just ignorance, but can easily forgiven if they hadn't watched Simba's Pride in a while.
It's still a nice comic, though the character art is clearly traced over from sequences from the films and merchandise.

Even if they were related, the genetic risk is rather insignificant. People's repulsion toward incest is really disproportionate to the potential problems. The chance of significant abnormalities in births between siblings is around 3%, so it would be even less for more distant relatives. That's about the same risk any woman faces having children over 40.
At any rate, as people pointed out, Kovu is not Scar's son, and we don't know who Nala's father was.
