well, Tanabi has no Swahili meaning. I don't know about Zulu or anything.

2: he left because Zira was going to kill him.

I just can't help wondering why he would've left if Zira was going to kill him. He could've just told his daddy and Simba would've banished Zira. I believe that it would be much safer for a little lion cub to live with his pride than wander alone.

I've also heard some other theories:

3: Tanabi lived happily in the Pride Lands, and as a adult he decided to leave and start his own pride. And Kiara was born after that.

4: Tanabi was born after Kiara. After SP.

Yeah, those theories are cool too.

i heard that he left because Zira was going to kill him because he fell in love with Vitani and Zira didnt want her Daughter to mate with simba's offspring and nuka told him that Zira was going to kill him so he left for a long time and he came back and he mated with Vitani and had a cub.
