By following the life of Simba, the main character, anyone who is viewing this movie can understand how someone's life can change forever in just one second and how the affected person will change with it.
This is not a simple movie, in which someone dies and it's "Wow, he died". No, in "The Lion King", you can feel the characters, feel their pain, their sorrow, it affects you. It's something intense, that can mark you forever.

Beyond the amazing and quite likable characters, with their different personalities, the beautiful scenario is also an advantage that this movie has compared to many others. The landscapes are so well revealed in the "camera's" movement that you actually feel like you're inside the Pride.

Another advantage is definitely the OST. Even the instrumental melodies are amazing and, personally, I believe that, without them, "The Lion King" wouldn't have reached out to so many people as it actually did. The music literally "sets the mood", creating an atmosphere that was impossible to miss.

Although it has various humorous moments, this movie is not just a kids movie. With its intense thematic elements, it carries a message that can only be fully understood once you've matured and, only then, you can truly realize what a Masterpiece this movie is.
