1.) Your personal canon?
The official story, formed by the first two films--and I add from TLK1½ Timon's past with the other meerkats and how he met Pumbaa (minus Rafiki's part in it because it contradicts TLK's events.) The rest of TLK1½ is obviously meant as parody only--and I personally don't need anything from outside the official story/movie universe. =)
2.) Your favourite official TLK universe character to write about?
Simba. He has the psychologically most interesteing and deep life story and character development.
3.) What's your favourite time period to write about?
Simba's exile years, or his first months as a king & father. Can't decide, both have tons of interesting and fascinating psychologt included.
4.) Do you prefer writing one-shots or chaptered stories?
One-shots. I like writing just glimpses into a characters life, form an entire story with them.
5.) Have you created your original character into the TLK universe and written abou it?
No. And I don't think I ever will apart from perhaps making some references to Mufasa and Scar's parents and such, if needed for a story.

1.) All from the movies, with the exception of Kopa, Ahadi Uru, and Mohatu. Possibly others that would've served no purpose in the film, such as Tojo. They could be off in the lands playing or something.

2.) Zira or Mufasa!

3.) Years before even Mohatu. Probably about 7 gens before Simba

4.) Big stories!

5.) Have some designs in mind; have to draw them. Yes, I typically include them in stories that have nothing to do with the movies, since as I said I write about TLK many years in the past.

Grudgingly, TLK and Simba's Pride.

Kovu, and Scar from time to time.

Post-movies.

Both!

1.) Anything that was included in the TLK films, books, comics, etc.
2.) Simba
3.) Immediately after Simba's Pride.
4.) Chaptered. I like to write them long, but I don't have time to do it all at once and even if I just saved it and worked on it periodically, it'd be a crapload to read at once.
5.) I have several original characters including my fursona, Snowy, but I've never actually inserted them into the Universe if I'm correctly interpreting the question.

Vitani. She is one of the most interesting, in my opinion.
3.) What's your favourite time period to write about?
Every time period, but mainly after TLK II or in between Simba's "death" and Nala's finding him.
4.) Do you prefer writing one-shots or chaptered stories?
Both.

Yes! In my TLK III I have about five/six...

Just the movies, but I like thinking of alternate universes.

I dunno, I suppose Kovu and Scar. They're the most interesting characters in TLK IMO.

Can't decide.. I suppose I prefer writing about the stampede in TLK and Kovu's childhood in SP.

I like both, but I usually write one-shots.

Yes.

1.) Your personal canon?
The Lion King 1 and 2. However, not 1.5. I consider it as an offshoot that doesn't fall in with the story. I consider Kopa and other extended characters (Ahadi and the likes) as semi-canon. This means that if I see them, I am fine. If I don't see them, I am also fine. I can flip-flop back and forth with no problems. I do however like Kopa better than Kiara, but she has more of an official status.
2.) Your favourite official TLK universe character to write about?
Simba. He is the most psychologically unique character, and the options on what he did while in exile with Timon and Pumbaa are nearly endless.
3.) What's your favourite time period to write about?
Before Simba's pride. This is mainly because I don't feel as comfortable writing about Kiara and Kovu. This is due to the fact that I liked the second movie a lot less, so I am less familiar with it and its characters.
4.) Do you prefer writing one-shots or chaptered stories?
Like a lot of things, I prefer to draw it out to the vanishing point. This is mainly because I try to describe it as I see it in my mind, and therefore I spend a lot of time on describing things like the scenery alone. I also like multi-chapters because they take time changes into account much better than one-shots. But despite this, I came across some one-chapters that are utterly superb.
5.) Have you created your original character into the TLK universe and written about it?
Not yet. I do have an idea in my mind about a whole AU, and hence a lot of other characters, but I have yet to type anything up.

During or after Kiara and Kovu's riegn.

Chaptered

Yes I have! My main one is Hatari in "The Lion King 4: The Lion King's Mystic".

1) The first two movies, that is about it.

2.) I barely do, I try to use an O-C where possible, I guess if anything it would be Kopa since we know little about him in comparison to other characters in the TLK universe.

3) Pre TLK 2, but post TLK. And also the period right after TLK2.

4) One shots. With chaptered stories (which I am writing one right now actually) I forget the plot points I have gone into already, and also the pacing varies in chapters quite wildly for me >.>

5.) KInd of, I mean yeah I have OC characters interact with the canon characters and all, but I am not the type of person to make a thread giving all of the characters characteristics and the like, if that is what you are getting it.

1.) Your personal canon?
The whole first movie, most of the second (fudging the timeline and other inconsistencies a bit), and bits of the third (Timon's backstory, etc). I also include some parts of TLK6NA (mostly just Kopa, Ahadi and Uru), the comics (characters like Tojo, etc).

2.) Your favourite official TLK universe character to write about?
Probably Kovu. His characterization fell a little flat in the movie IMO, but he's got lots of interesting experiences and problems to deal with. "Maybe there's a darkness in me, too."

3.) What's your favourite time period to write about?
The period after SP. You can do pretty much anything you want with it, after all. Also, the Pridelands during Scar's reign.

4.) Do you prefer writing one-shots or chaptered stories?
One-shots, I guess. I'm not good at mapping out chaptered stories.

5.) Have you created your original character into the TLK universe and written about it?
I sometimes create minor characters to fill in roles, but other than that, no.
