King Joe's other name?

Just out of curiosity, I downloaded the German version of "A False Ancestor" from here to see if King Joe's name was the same in the Swedish comic which first gained him fame in the fandom.

Interestingly, his German name is very different than his Swedish one. It's "König Gutus Kämpfus". "König" (unsurprisingly) means "king", but I wasn't able to find out what the other words meant in English.

Are there any German-speaking members here who might be able to figure out what King Joe's other name means in English? :joe:

Hmmm,nice find... :)
'Gutus Kämpfus' doesn't actually mean anything, but it is more than obvious that it was derived for 'Guter Kämpfer' which means 'Good Fighter'.

Ah, I see. I guess the German "Joe" was more creative with naming himself than his Swedish counterpart. Thanks for the help!

Joe doesn’t look like much of a fighter to me, but perhaps he was before he became all skinny? :P
