The voice of Uncle Max passed today as you had read in the title. I know this wasn't the only thing Stiller was known for obviously, many other known properties as well, like Seinfeld, but I just wanted to leave this here anyways since it does lead back to TLK 1 1/2.
Very sad, but at least it was of natural causes and not related to the virus going on.

"The Lion King 1½" was my introduction to Jerry Stiller, and later on, I learned he was Ben Stiller's father. While he was more widely known for his supporting roles in popular sitcoms, he did find a niche in voice-over acting, one of which was the animated series "Teacher's Pet" that also featured Nathan Lane. Rest in peace, Jerry.

While I knew of Jerry Stiller as Ben Stiller's dad and as a "Seinfeld" star, I never watched the show, so "The Lion King 1 1/2" was also the first time I saw his work. I haven't got the chance to watch "Teacher's Pet" but I will look it up. Definitely sad news. I was going to rewatch "The Lion King 1 1/2" this week then I heard about his passing. Rest in peace, Jerry.

RIP! Great actor, most notably for his tremendous Seinfeld performance.
