As a mod on the forums I am always wanting to help members out as much as possible when an issue arises. However recently I have met 'problems' that I am asked to deal with and yet I find it hard to do so cause there's no proof of anything wrong. I don't know if my fellow mods have had this issue but I'm sure they have come across it

Let me try and give an example

Member A is bullying member B via PM
Member B then tell CDE about it
BCDE then come to Mod A and complain
Mod A asks for proof

Now heres where it gets important

Member B cant show proof as the PM's are deleted
Mod A decides theres no point in continuing
Member A continues on

Thats what seems to be happening alot. Members coming up with issues and no way to prove them wrong. I would like to help as would the rest of staff but we cant act just cause someone says so

My point is this. If you are having issues with a member either via PM or in a thread just please please please keep it there and report it via the 'report' button or PM a member of staff with a link or even a screenshot. Don't get involved any further, that way we can clean up whatever mess there is with minimal issues

I've said it before, the mods are only as good as the members. Help us to help you and vice versa

I've been trying very hard to help resolve a recent issue on the forum, a very serious one, and lack of proof is basically crippling our efforts. If something's happening on-forum that you want to stop, use the report button or private message the staff!

I know how you guys feel. I'm a mod on AS, and everytime they say "I deleted the PM!!!" I facepalm.

If the one (more?) who have done it read this: stop it. It is lame, it is stupid, it is dumb, it is annoying. Stop destroying some1's life and build up your own. It seems it is necessary.
