Would Kiros Have Double Crossed Taka

If Taka had not first betrayed Kiros, and Kiros killed Mufasa (as well as Sarabi,The Other Lions Zazu,and Rafiki) and conquered Milele. Would Kiros have allowed Taka to remain in His Pride as He said He would, or would He have killed Him to end a Royal Bloodline?
