An official (?) poster for the remake of The Lion King.

It's probably a fan-made poster. I'm not seeing this poster being circulated around the Internet as official.

I want to say that poster is a fake because I instantly recognized the poses of the lions in the movie - it's from a news article back in 2013, if not earlier.

Shade in the lions from the article to turn them into silhouettes, photoshop over a picture of a sunset, add the logo, and you have the poster. I highly doubt Disney would be so lazy, as to use a picture belonging to someone else.

Ah, interesting. I was wondering why I hadn't seen an official source linked. The same source also released one for Aladdin, so I figured its authenticity could be bolstered. It's pretty, regardless.

Your link isn't working, by the way, but I found the picture: https://i.huffpost.com/gen/1415379/thum ... -900.jpg?6 There are some differences in the pose of the adult lions (slightly different angles and resultant silhouettes) and the cubs are totally different, but it does look conceivably "false".
