Should the remake bridge itself to the sequel?

yeah I'd honestly love to see a sequel, regardless of whether it'd be based on SP or a totally original story. a prequel would be cool too!

At least for this remake a Prequel could work. with as grounded in reality as the remake was I very much doubt that any elements of "The Lion Guard" would be used (bummer). A prequel could also be used to lay the groundwork for a Sequel regardless of what direction they wanted to take said sequel in.
