So apparently the newly announced ep was the start of s2.

Or maybe not? Some are saying its s1. Some say that a voice actor confirmed s2 for the fall with another rotr like production.

Me too. Wikipedia Which I am fully aware IS NOT a reliable source lists Ono's Idol and Beshte And The Hippo Lanes as being part of Season One.

Personally I'd love it if they kicked off Season 2 with another TV Movie. Not only would it show that Disney is acknowledging the start of a new season, but it could also set the stage for the darker? tone of the new season.

Although if there are Two episodes left in Season 1 it only adds to the confusion as to why The Trail To Udugu was not the season finale

I would love another "movie", though if it means waiting all the way till fall, I'd rather just have normal episodes. Fall is a looong wait.

I'd be inclined to think that if Beshte And The Hippo Lanes is the last episode of season 1 rather than the start of season 2 and it airs in March. I would expect the next movie (if there is one) to air in April. I honestly don't think that season 2 will start in the fall. It makes no sense to stretch Season 1 out as far as they have if season 2 is so far away.

^I almost wanna cry, lol. Fall is just too damn far away. Barring Ono's Idol, that's close to an entire year of no new episodes. Holy poop.

Maybe that's why they stretched as much as they did. They presumably knew season 2 wouldn't air for a long time.

Well hopefully Beshte And The Hippo Lanes will air on March 17, but still that is not even spring and the new movie won't air until Fall

Good point. There is always a silver lining in any dark cloud.

That is a good point. More time spent on something usually results in said thing being better. That's definitely the silver lining here.
