- Scar has bright green eyes, yet two of Rafiki's paintings depict him with red eyes.
- Scar's volcano painting faded lion has green eyes, but see the line right above.
- Often when Kion uses The Roar, his orange eyes become amber/golden. Lions of the Outlands so far is the only episode this hasn't happened in. Also, if one's paying attention in the previous episodes he started closing his eyes before using the roar which I find a bit suspicious.
- In SP, Kovu's eyes are sometimes bright green when he has dark green eyes.
