So when you first heard that kion would have a power what were your hopes on what the power would be? I hoped it would be something like an ability to make animals do whatever he says.

The power to force Bunga out of the pridelands.

BUT SERIOUSLY

I wish he had no superpowers. The roar is too often used as a crutch.

But yeah, I hate the fact that he even has a power. There was no mention of it in the films, or of magic at all tbh. It just breaks consistency with the canon, but then again so does everything else with this garbage show.

The power of not allow stupid Disney-employed humans dictate that he gets an uninventive and annoyingly cheap shortcut out of all his problems.

Woulda been cool if the Mufasa summoning thing was his power. We like to speculate that being part of the guard is why he can do that, but it's never been confirmed. Ancestor summoning in general would be really neat. Maybe even something more like Aang from Avatar where he can only do it via meditation.

Aside from that, though, I do wish Kion didn't have any powers. The Roar ends things too easily and would be far more interesting to see him resolve problems without it.

Yeah, I think the Roar is plenty.

Although! It'd be really great if we got extended lore regarding his ability to tap into the Elders!
