this means that season one only has 8 episodes? the 2 last episodes that are known about, are about Fuli (finds her place and that other one) so that means, thats it? we will have to wait a long time for season 2 if they only start production now. But that is not a problem, it is very awesome to know that the legacy of the lion king continues with this series, so for me I say yay!!

Not at all. Typically, it takes over a year to complete a season of an animated program. They often begin working on it while the previous season is still airing. Scripts are written first - I would assume every season two episode is already written at this point.

We already know the Kovu, Nuka and Vitani episode is in season one. There is more to come.

that is great news! that means season 1 contains more than eight episodes, right? :D

woah, really? that means we almost have a year full of tlg episodes! or at least six months, non-mathematic-me XD that is a great news!
