Keep in mind, this thread is solely for fun! It's not mean to be an argument about canon or anything else. It's just to use you imagination to come up with whatever crazy, wacky stories you want in TLG universe. I would love to hear your stories, so don't be afraid to post em! You may also take inspiration from other movies as well to fuel your ideas. You can make your theories as dark or as kiddy as you want too.

I decided to make a topic about "What if...?" stories. Basically, this thread is made for discussing what kind of neat ideas you have about The Lion Guard, and cool/funny scenarios.

Also, heres what i mean by fanservice: "Adult Kion and Tiffu kissed! ERMAHGERD! KION X TIFFU FTW!!!1!!1!!" (but don't go overboard with posts like that please X3), and or "Adult Kion gets glomped by all the lionesses becuz hees so handsum <3333!!" or whatever else. On that note, they can be set during the future as well, where they're all grown up

Now, from a true "What if...?" standpoint, i'm sure you know what i mean by that. Something like "What if...kion was killed or badly injured sometime during a rescue mission?". You know, anything like that. With that said, here's my fun little fan service story about TLG that i was thinking about taking place when he's a young adult:


What if...an Adult Kion had to spend a day with other lionesses that adored him? I think that'd be super funny, and cute at the same time XD. I mean, cmon! He already showed us what he currently thinks about love, how could you not want to see him getting bombarded by a group of lionesses with a huge crush on him? Just the way he'd handle the situation in general ya know X3

They'd be all flirty and whatnot. Maybe a hot spring type of scene...OH GOD, this ain't "G" rated anymore XD!

I mean, just look at these He's good looking! Now just imagine him as an adult X)

Alright, well, I'm prepared for all sorts of shippers to maul me for this, but I've been hoping for something I know won't happen since the announcement of Zira's kids' inclusion.

What if... Vitani develops a crush on one of the pride's lioness cubs, say Tiifu or Kiara. She goes through the episode trying to understand her feelings, and either never admits them to the crush, or does but faces rejection due to them not being into girls, or perhaps if it's Tiifu, there's some reciprocation. It's nothing too extreme, just an innocent crush among tweens or whatever they are. No matter which path it takes, the other characters reassure Vitani that being interested in other females isn't wrong. Perhaps she and Nuka have a bonding moment.

What if Tiifu and Zuri ended up together? Their interaction in RotR was so cute!

But alas, I doubt lesbian relationships will happen on a Disney show. We'll have to stick to Steven Universe for our cartoon lesbians.

Meh, it's just a story. Besides, i did mention that it doesn't have to be canon unless you were implying something else?

What if... Kiara meets Kovu like she did in SP and Kion finds out that she has been seeing him in secret to play (innocent cub stuff, y'all). Kion confronts Kovu and tries to warn him away from his sister. This wouldn't be resolved in one episode, of course. Kion feels a connection to Kovu because of their shared desire to not be like Scar. It leads to an uneasy friendship, but Kion will still chase him out of the Pridelands if he steps foot within the boundries.

I was thinking of something like that earlier believe it or not.

I like this idea a lot. I also think it would be interesting if in addition to all that Kion falls for Vitani (Yes these two are who I ship). Neither Kion or Kovu will be thrilled about the other crushing on his sister and their already tenuous friendship will be further tested.

It would be my dream if that happened. I just want to see Kovu, Nuka, VItani, and Zira in the show. Or at least the cubs, I could understand them not having Zira.

I like your "What if's..." guys! I think i got a new "What if..." myself, but it's pretty dark:


What if...scar actually had another son besides Nuka that was kept a secret from the Pridelanders the whole time? Zira gave said son to another pride (or a cult group) that worships scar themselves so that she can raise Kovu and Vitani, while the "cult" could raise their other son. Scar chose Kovu not only for the reasons mentioned in TLK2, but maybe he could have done so because he knew a backup plan could be needed should Kovu fail to fulfill Scar's wish. And since Kovu really did fail (at least fail in the way Scar wanted it to happen), their other son could take the responsibility of ending the Pridelands himself one day.

Eventually, their secret son would grow up learning that he was not raised by his real parents, but rather others that followed in his parents footsteps. Soon after learning that truth, using his new skills/abilities and being the strongest of the group, eventually snaps and murders the cult out of anger. But also, because he knew he wouldn't need them anymore, and because they were weaker. He would then go on to form an army of his own by raiding neighboring prides and stealing their cubs to make a team of the strongest lions (some being his friends, whom he spared) to try and destroy the Pridelands and in inhabitants, rather than rule the kingdom. Kion and The Lion Guard, Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumbaa, Kiara, Kovu and vitani along with the rest of the pride would have to fight for their kingdom in full-fledged warfare, and to protect the Circle of Life.


So yeah, there's my What if. And yes, i went a bit "Star Wars: Episode 7" with this idea, but i thought that this would be REALLY cool!
