All are children of Zira (who will, for now, not appear in The Lion Guard) and descendants of Scar. Kovu, of course, goes on to be Kiara’s love interest.

I cannot believe they are bringing all three of Zira’s cubs into one of the series, it makes me really want to believe I think our messages to Disney begging for it really got heard, if this was the case good job on all your hard work every one! im proud of all of you

WOW! I'm really surprised to hear this news...surprised but happy! I guess they're not gonna retcon SP after all. I always did love Vitani and it'll be awesome to see her again.

This is surprising news! But hold on just a second, if Jason Marsden is reprising Kovu, then that means Kovu has hit puberty already. Given Kiara is still a cub (albeit older since her interaction with Kovu), you would think Kovu still is one, too. Or will we see an adolescent Kovu similar to how adolescent Simba looked in 1½ (almost full-grown body but still noticeable cub facial features, but has his adult voice)?

It's a shame Jennifer Lien has retired, and ran into trouble with the law a few months ago, but Lacey Chabert is a good choice given she voiced cub Vitani. But who knows as of now, maybe Vitani is still a cub in this series.
