I guess you all noticed that Bunga called T&P "uncles". Why? Romeo told me that she read someplace that the two adopted Bunga. So, why doesn't he call them "fathers"? Is that not to confuse younger audience? What do you think?

My guess is most young'uns who spend time around Timon and Pumbaa consider them their uncles. Remember in SP, when Pumbaa said to Kiara, "Uncle Pumbaa's comin'!" Methinks it's a title kids give them, no need to overthink it.

Being that Bunga's back story has yet to be revealed I think there could be more too it. Perhaps Bunga's birth family were close friends of Timon and Pumbaa. Close enough that Bunga would call them uncle, so when Timon and Pumbaa took Bunga in. Why change what he knew?

well someone said that they used uncle alot in Africa, god I really hope the producers explain more
