The live-action footage is from the Disney Channel movie, Descendants. It's like one of those marketing taglines studios use to grab their audience's attention such as "From the creators of Frozen and Wreck-It Ralph". So, basically, it's saying if you liked Descendants, watch The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar (since Kion himself is a descendant of Simba).

I'm pretty sure it's qui gon jinn who said 'trust your instincts' in star wars not darth vader.
