Catchphrases
Posted: October 20th, 2015, 4:24 pmI noticed in the clip that both Kion and Bunga used catchphrases. What do you think? And, do you suppose the others will use catchphrases as well?

Posted: October 20th, 2015, 7:12 pmI think Mostly likely the others will have Catchphrases must tv characters do. the target audience is little kids. I think Bunga's is silly whatever he screams out! but I mean it is what is it's for little kids and they will like that.

The 2nd word is "kabisa" which basically means "completely" or "very." The american accent screws up the 1st word enough that my grandmother and I weren't able to recognize it. One common phrase is "safi kabisa" which means "very good" or "perfect." I don't think he's saying that though. I do like that they're using Swahili in the show like this though.
I'll have to ask my grandma what Bunga is saying. For all I know, it might not even be Swahili! lol
