My Lion King Forum

Just watched the teaser trailer on TLK's Facebook page. I'm hoping kids of this generation will enjoy it, but I'm sure all of us fans of the original movie have mixed feelings about this one. What are everyone's thoughts about The Lion Guard?

I think it'll be good. I'll admit though, i really was hoping that canonically, it would take place after TLK2 especially since they said it was, but i can't help but wonder why they would choose to do that in the first place. I do hope that they didn't just retcon TLK2 and claim that one as non-canon to the series, cause then that would cause an uproar with the community for sure ya know?

I want to like it.

I think most of the decisions around it have been good. I <3 tiifu, such a cutie kitty.
