Ok so I already got me some stuff to Celebrate, got me some Simba Yellow m&ms with little baby simba baggys , and decorated my room with welcome little one baby Simba confetti

How are you celebrating our new show or How will you celebrate it in the future? what are some of your ideas? please do share

I'll celebrate it when it's near release. I just don't want to throw a party, then get disappointed if the movie ends up poor. But i have no doubt that it'll be fine. It seems like it's in the hands of a competent group of animators. I just want to know the Roar of the Elders and all of the new lore they're introducing, plus Kion and friends of course

I have no really celebratory plans, but friends and family are very aware of how excited I am. and they will definitely know what I think of the movie when I see it.

Since it's unlikely to be released in the UK at the same time, I won't be able to really celebrate. Even if it was, I don't have Disney Junior (or barely any channels, really - I don't watch TV much these days).

When the DVD is released though, you can bet I'll be updating my TLK collection site with Kion images though!

I'll probably record it and watch it the morning after during breakfast.

After thinking about it a bit more. I'm now totally looking forward to TLG. Just because it is aimed at a new generation, doesn't mean I can't also enjoy it. I wouldn't exactly say I am hyped or excited even about it but... You have someone here who is hopeful. Like when I watched Frozen, which isn't aimed at me at all but was hopeful I would like it anyway and honestly ended up enjoying it.

So yeah, I will just watch it whenever its going to be on TV here in the UK, I guess (unless it never makes it over here, then I'll have to just catch it when I visit the states but I think that will only happen if it really drops like a bag of rocks). Hopefully I will like it, if not, the kids surely will and that's what their goal is with this anyway.

And who knows, this could lead to a surge in popularity which would mean 1) more beautiful people on here. 2) a potential new "proper" TLK film and 3)TLK merch suddenly being everywhere again. Potentially exciting times await the TLK fandom. I just hope Disney can deliver the quality the TLK name is known for, if they can do that then I think this will be successful and I hope that is what will happen.

I guess you could say I'm more excited to find out whether this will actually end up being good or not than I am to watch it... If that makes sense?
So yus my plan is to either 1) watch it at home when it is out or 2) go to the states and watch it with my friend over there.

This is what I'm hoping could happen if The Lion Guard is as successful as I hope it could be. just from the clip we have seen I'll be shocked if this series does not prove to be a huge hit.
