Regarding Roar of the Elders and kings...

When Kion used the roar, his mark showed up. So I think that the other members of the guard also have the mark, but that it only shows up when they are "open for business" - actually defending the Pride Lands and its creatures rather than just during everyday fun and what not.

Now what I dont get is when ford Riley said when Kion never heard of the Lion guard, and Bunga and Kion are just playing baobab ball, um well they show this, and its kinda obvious the that the gang hasn't met each other yet unless they alredy have idk, its only Bunga and Kion to start with now, now if they never hears of the Lion guard how come they show him doing the roar at this point, thats very confusing to me right now

I sometimes wonder... Could that final part of the clip just be part of the teaser trailer? As in, perhaps in the final movie his mark doesn't appear straight after? I've seen some teaser clips for series that show something happening at the end just to hype people up, but when the final product is revealed, that exact scene is edited somehow. Just a thought.

Image is an Epic Mickey concept art. We could have had this in EM3. I still want it.

I share the same thoughts. Nowadays, most trailers show something that, either doesn't appear or is edited by the time the final product is revealed. Disney does this very, very often.

I think Kion's use of The Roar of the Elders was unintentional, all he wanted to do at that moment was help Bunga. The Great Kings chose that moment to empower Kion because his motives were selfless and the roar of a cub would have been insufficient in the situation. Being that what Disney Showed us was clip and not an actual trailer. I do not think it was edited, except perhaps where exactly the title card shows up. Kion using The Roar and the the mark appearing will cause him to ask questions.
As for The group that becomes The Lion Guard not knowing each other, Beshte greeted Bunga and Kion by name when they jumped on him so that leave only Ono and Fuli to be recruited. Once Kion finds out about The Lion Guard and his responsibility, recruiting his team will be among the first things he'll do.
