in one of the video clips, 2 hyena's are shown. is anything known about them? are they related to the hyena's from the first movie? do they have names and will they appear in more episodes?

All we know so far is that the hyenas will serve as potential usurpers, and therefore are the enemies of the Lion Guard. Their names and their relation to the hyenas in the first film have not been disclosed yet, but will likely be revealed when the Return of the Roar film (and the television series) airs on television.

Nevertheless, there are rumors that Mzingo (voiced by Greg Ellis) is a hyena, but it's best to wait until this is confirmed or disproven.

You might be right.
the hyenas look kinda round, and Mzingo in Swahili means circumference, which is a circle.

The hyena who talked a lot awfully reminds of shenzi and Ed, it's like he/she is a mix of them.

And my question is Who is Jon Jon, he wasn't on the cast list at all, or am I wrong? I already guess he is some kind of leader, he could be that one Hyena we kept seeing in that wall picture

That is one thing I am waiting to find out, are the Hyenas in the Clip pups of Hyenas we know? Are they from the same clan? It will be interesting to find out.

That is a good possibility, but could Jon Jon be a Lion? he would have to be nothing more than an pre-teen if Bunga would have been a good lunch. Although would The Hyenas be willing to throw in with another Evil Lion?

Neat find SimbaPrescott, now we know that Janja is an adult hyena and that the hyenas have an alliance with the vultures. and from that audition it seems that Mzingo may not be a hyena.
