So, "Lions of the Outlands" pretty much confirmed the theory I had that we didn't see Kion in the first half of SP because he was either a newborn, or wasn't born at all yet. Kion had no knowledge of lions in the Outlands prior to the episode, which means he has to be significantly younger than Kiara to have missed all the lectures about it. Also, there had to have been some passage of time between the Kovu incident and Kion being old enough to understand words, as it would take some time for it to no longer be fresh on Kiara's mind (otherwise she would have told him). It also seemed to imply that these lions age slower than lions in real life, closer to how humans age. Despite the time passage, Nuka had no noticeable mane growth, and Kovu only had a little bit of growth at the back of his head tuft and his voice was starting to change.

well sometimes in real life snow goes to places that dont get snow. there was a show that i watch called rocket power and they got snow. and they live in a place that dont get snow. but the snow didnt last verry long so that could be whats happening in the lion guard.

While snow shouldn't happen in the Pridelands, I've always been very partial to TLK characters in the snow. It's so magical that I can't be mad xD

It actually does snow in some places, mostly high latitudes like the Atlas Mountains, the Drakensburg, Table Mountain, and a few other specific locales. Apparently the Guard will be escorting some gorilla princes to the Rwenzori Mountains of Uganda, which is like two countries northwest of the series' main setting and where it does actually snow. There's a small real-world gorilla population there, but I doubt they live high enough to actually see snow. Either way, should be interesting; looks like the writers did their homework on this one.

I have been needing to share this picture for a long time, to show everyone this is the new technology they are using, then went from paper to electronic artwork, people who still dont like the animation need to accept it and get used to it, also I have noticed another improvement, as I have been sick in bed and watching a TLG marathon(recording of every episode) I noticed that Simbas and Kions eye brows are thinner now, so they definitely fixed something there, I mean compare it to this picture and the ones in the return of the roar or first episodes. Im so glade they improved that cause there thick eye brows were such an eye sore.

The thing is shows like Archer on FX are also produced using ToonBoom and deliver more fluid animation. The big issue is projects don't get adequate funding backing to achieve a good balance of quality to cost. 2D (more) traditional animation has been experiencing a big boom (no pun intended) in France recently as well. There's also been an increase in Stop-motion movies being hits too a la The Little Prince and Boxtrolls.

Archer has fluid animation? Whenever I watch the show it looks really stilted....
Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves back up again.
