Interesting TLK coloring pages

I discovered a site that has various coloring pages from TLK, SP and TLK1.5. Most of them are fairly generic scenes or just pictures of the characters in various poses, but I found a few of them interesting enough to share here.

By the way, the server these files are on won't let me link directly to the files, so you'll have to copy and paste the URLs into your address bar in order to see them. Also, some of the files are pretty large, so they may take a while to load. Sorry about that.

Uh-oh...looks like Scar's going to have a messy landing...

ZAZU: You say that YOU are a hornbill? Preposterous!

Wow -- Pumbaa rescuing Kiara instead of almost drowning her? Go Pumbaa!

Nothing spectacular about this picture (which is supposed to be the scene where Simba accepts Kovu into the pride). I just think it's funny how happy both Simba and Kovu look -- not to mention that the weird perspective makes adult Kovu look cub-sized.

Yikes! Look out, everyone; Kiara's gone ballistic!

Woah -- this scene would have been a lot more dramatic if Simba and Kovu were this close during it (possibly even paralleling Simba's nightmare as well).

KOVU: Uh, Simba, I'm really sorry that my pride beat you up like that.
SIMBA: Oh, don't worry, about it, Kovu! If I had a zebra leg for every time those pesky Outsiders have attacked me...oh, and I'm exiling you, by the way.
(Seriously, this scene doesn't make any sense. It's supposed to be right after the ambush, so why the heck is Timon the only one who doesn't look completely happy?)

I've known this image for a long time. It's so strange -- Kiara seems to be looking at something not visible to the viewer, and Kovu seems strangely terrified at his sister's gymnastic skills (this is one of the few pieces of clipart Vitani appears in, by the way).

Timon, Pumbaa and...Nuka?? Strange that these three characters should be pictured together when they never meet in the movie. Nuka also has the cheek tufts that are common in virtually every official illustration of him (even his beanie tag picture), yet are completely absent in the movie.

That's my website ;)

And Fotopic doesn't allow hotlinking I'm afraid. I have tried for 15 minutes to get a working link to one of the coloring pages you mentioned and I even can't get it to work! (I can get into the editor and find the direct links for each image)
All I get it is a warning sign about linking...

Sorry Akril, links aren't working for that side, too bad :(
Parabuteo's site works :) and it's partly in Dutch, yay :D

I just bought an 80 page coloring book off eBay, when that arrives it'll go under the scanner and I'll add some new ones :)
I also bought some more TLK magazines containing excellent coloring pages. This collection, http://lionkingcoloring.fotopic.net/c1783171.html contains the newest additions and the third image from the top, with Scar and Zazu, is from that magazine. One of my favorites!
These images are a bit of work to get ready though, they always have this decorative border around them. And I want to keep the pages printer-friendly, so those borders have to be removed.

And, seeing as I'm Dutch too, I noticed there wasn't any Dutch website with good enough quality coloring pages. Most websites have a couple of TLK pages but usually low quality. :(

So when I gathered so many, I decided to upload them in one, convenient website. I have about 800 different coloring pages now, gathered from sites in several different languages and the books and magazines that I have.

But as Akril said, some are better than others ;)

Wow, cool! Thanks for the great site, then!

As for the links not working, did you try copy+pasting the links into your address bar? That fixes the problem for me.

the one right before the last one is one that was on the now non-existing TLK2 site on Disney.com. I think they just put random clipart pieces together to get the cubs together. that last one's possibly from that site too.....it looks like Timon and Pumbaa are making fun of adolescent Nuka or something, perhaps for those cheek tufts lol?

Yeah, the ones with Nuka, Timon and Pumbaa and Kovu, Kiara and Vitani are from the old SP site. I found the one with Nuka there when I entered the site's address into The Internet Wayback Machine. Too bad a lot of those old graphics aren't available anymore (which is really ironic, since two of them are featured on the back of the SP DVD case!).

These are so great guys, thanks for sharing them with us. I found some myself, I absolutely love The Lion King. I found them on this site called supercoloring, here's the link to their Lion King coloring pages I already went through all ^^
Have fun!
