Is the Special Version sped up from the regular VHS or DVD version? It's going so fast! I think the animation and voices are slightly faster, but it's still noticeable to me. Anyone else?

Could be a bad player or different settings. But the versions should run at the same speed. Check how fast the settings are on the spinner.

It's not on my DVD, it's online. Every time I've watched something from the Special Edition it appears slightly sped up.

Is there a regular DVD edition?

Answer: They had to make the pitch higher in order to avoid copyright infringement.

^ No, not on that one, Gameboy. I never saw that one, I figured they'd do something to avoid copyright to avoid Disney on the prowl. I'm talking about all the others.

I actually noticed this too. I think they sped it up just a bit so they could squeeze the Morning Report scene in. I'd try playing both the Special Edition and original versions at the same time to see which one's faster, but I'm too lazy lol.

That's a bit strange..I have the Special Edition DVD but I always watch the original theatrical version (dude, it's ridiculously hard to find =/) so I wouldn't know. I'm gonna have to investigate this lol. It's interesting.
