Jason was the first adult Simba in The Lion King on Broadway, which he is best known as. He continued being a well known guy throughout the United States, appearing in shows and meeting a variety of people. Sadly, he ended his life in 2004. He was replaced by Josh Tower as adult Simba in the Broadway Musical.

What do you guys think about him? I've never heard of him I've only recently gotten into TLKoB. From the sound of it he was a really great guy. Did anyone see TLKoB with him as adult Simba?

aww, that's so sad!! I never heard of him, because I've never seen any TLKoB (never came to my town). But he did a great job, from what I can see in those vids!

Jason Raize was also in Brother Bear as one of Kenai's brothers (I forget which one).

I've had the TLKoB soundtrack for a while, and I've seen some of the youtube videos of him. He was a phenomenal Baritone.

He was a really good singer. Sadly he died. I think it was a suicide.

I actually saw Jason as Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar about two years before he went off to be Simba. He was awesome. I also saw him as Simba in NY in 2000. I waited at the stage door for him, but the guard said there was a school tour back there or something so it would be awhile. I regret leaving.
