James Earl Jones is like my favorite actor voice-wise. He has an amazingly low voice and every character he voices - well it just fits together really nicely.

Who else likes James Earl Jones?

I love his voice! It fits his role perfectly! Really powerful and king-like.

Oh yeah this was a perfect choice for Mufasa. Right from the beginning of TLK you could tell that Mufasa was very powerful just by listening to his voice.

What a POWERFUL voice eh!? I remember seeing him in the movie 'Coming to America' where he played Eddie Murphy's dad...and he was the king, and you'll never guess who was his queen....thats right, SARABI! ahaha how cool 8-)

There is another episode where you see Mufasa in the clouds next to DARTH VADER, and at first he 'accidently' said Kimba instead of Simba...which of course is a reference to the whole Kimba the White Lion rip off.

Woot! Good old Muffy. lol.

I think JEJ did a marvelous job with Mufasa's character. ^^ It's really hard to go wrong when it comes to James Earl Jones anyways and he really brought Mufasa to life. ^^ It's funny how a lot of the voice talents from TLK went on to narrate nature programs dealing with big cats. ^^ At least James Earl Jones and Jeremy Irons did. lol. ^^ Seems befitting too.
