Hey finally watched it, and the first thing I noticed, was the change in voice actors. Does anyone know why? Additionally, especially in the CFTLT scene, both Simba and Nala have two different voices. Is this just me? Or did Disney make a worse mess than they should have?

Obviously lol. They can't exactly recycle the whole cast from the first TLK movie seeing as cubby Simba would be voiced by a 22-year-old and Sarabi's voice actress was long dead. I personally think the voice actors used in the midquel were pretty decent, but not as good as the first TLK movie of course. Some of the old voice actors did return for TLK 1.5 such as Matthew Broderick who voiced Simba and Nathan Lane who did Timon, but I guess 10 years did make them sound a little different lol.

Well, Nala is still voiced by Moira Kelly for part of this film.
