I was wondering... what kind of relationship do you think Cub Kiara has to Zazu?

We all know that for Cub Simba, Zazu was a boring and annoying bird who tried to ruin his plans of adventure.

But Adult Simba has seemingly never used Zazu as a babysitter for Kiara, probably because he remembers how much he disliked it when he was a cub.. So I was wondering what Cub Kiara might think of Zazu, if they spend any time together at all? (I believe Zazu and Cub Kiara are only in one scene together, at Pride Rock. I don’t remember if Zazu went with the lions to rescue her from the Outlands.)

And do you think that Simba ever encouraged Cub Kiara to pounce on Zazu, like Mufasa did with him?
Do you think Cub Kiara would pounce on Zazu for fun if she had the chance?

I think Kiara didn't mind Zazu. I mean, she was interested in what he said about turning your back on the outsiders. At least someone has interest in what he said, besides Mufasa. ^^ I'm not too sure about Simba encouraging Kiara to pounce on him. Maybe she did at one point, but then maybe she got bored? I'm not too sure. But I think she would if she didn't have that butterfly! xD

Yeah, I agree. To me, it seems like she didn’t mind Zazu being around. Then again, I haven’t gotten the impression that she spends a lot of time with him. I would imagine that if Zazu was going to babysit her, she would probably find him annoying and try to shake him off.

As for the pouncing.. I’d like to think Cub Kiara had slightly more respect for Zazu than Cub Simba had.

Zazu was present for both Cubby Kiara's presentation, as well as the fire rescue scene, and also the sceen right after Simba gets ambushed by Zira, so he did share a little screentime with Kiara, although there was very little interaction between the two characters, so it's hard to say what their relationship would be. Timon & Pumbaa were pretty much the stand-ins for Zazu in this movie, so I agree that Kiara probably would have disliked Zazu more if he had been her appointed babysitter of sorts. I also agree with the fact that Kiara has more respect for Zazu, seeing as she realizes his position in the Pride and utilizes him in that fashion, like when she tells him to go and get help after Simba is ambushed by zira and company. I don't think she ever used him for pouncing practice though. lol. ^^

I think Kiara would enjoy Zazu. Zazu knows alot of things and could certainly tell her some good stories. She might find him a little annoying. I would prefer that Zazu babysat Kiara rather than Timon and Pumbaa.

Yay! Zazu is the better babysitter. He's more responsible. I think Kiara would find him to be interesting.

I think it'd kinda be the same relationship Simba had with Zazu, actually. xD But thats just me. But I don't think he'd Babysit on Kirara.

Hmm true, maybe he'd tell how Simba went on a musical note with "I can't wait to be king!"
