I think the main reason people who don't like Kiara dislike her is because we got her. We didn't get Kopa. If you are given something that you particularly aren't fond of and then are told that there was originally supposed to be a different approach, wouldn't you pick that over what you were given? It's common sense to want something better, and for those who dislike Kiara, much like myself, the idea of replacing her sounds good to me. And I'm sure it sounds good to a lot of other people too.

It's strange that people would prefer Kopa when he wasn't even ever going to be used in a movie. He just came from books. I think he's a bigger Simba clone than Kiara, but meh. Kiara's not my favourite character, but I don't hate her either. I just wish her design looked more mature when she grew up >.<

Yeah, Kopa looks EXACTLY like Simba (except his mane might be more brown). And I think Kiaras not quite full grown, more older adolescent.

We all know me and my likings (well, not really) but I love father-daughter stories, in which case I like Kiara because of it. After all, isn't it a little dramatic to say you hate a fictional character? Anyway, I just like her because she has a nice story put into her, I know allot of you don't think she does, but in my personal opinion I think Kiara's a nice character. Her laugh's unforgettable and since she looks so much like Simba she has a nice design.

I don't really understand how people can hate Kiara?

People can hate anyone and anything. I've given up trying to understand why they do so about fictitious characters.

Right? It'd be seriously stupid to say "I hate this character" I swear people don't even know what the word 'hate' means.

I think Kiara was an alright character. I only liked TLK 2 because of the strong love feeling between Kovu and Kiara.

Kiara is a bit girly-girly, but she is kind to others and I like her just the same.

I love the Kiara!!! ^^ Kiara is the Best!
