I was just pondering about this the other day, and I was thinking about what Nuka said in SP.
"I could be a leader, of she'd just give me a chance!"

If Nuka weren't so desprate about winning his mother's approval, would you think that he would make a good king? I think he would, I bet he would run things a lot better then Scar or Zira.

What do you guys think?

Difficult to tell. If he weren't so desperate for his mother's approval, he may or may not be totally totally right in the head. Seemed to be he would have been a little nutty even without wanting Zira to love him.

It really depends... If he was still evil, then I believe he'd be just a bit better than Scar. If he was good, he would still not know how to be king... Which could be a problem unless someone taught him about being king.

with proper guidence he could be. but its hard to tell really

I doubt it. He doesnt have the skills and the manners to be a leader.

I'm thinking he could end up alot like Scar... after all the two of them are very similar personality-wise despite the fact that Kovu/Scar looks so alike. Both Nuka and Scar are powerhungry, evil, and of course never got the chance to be king. So I'd say he'd make a bad king considering all that

I’ve never viewed Nuka as a leader-type, let alone a good one. I’ve always considered him to be a bit crazy and way too desperate for his mother’s attention and approval.. If he’s not completly sane he would never make a good leader. Besides, he doesn’t seem to be able to take good care of himself, how would he lead and take care of a pride?

In short, I think that if Nuka became king, he would be a bad one, like Scar. Overhunting, bullying the lionesses, etc..

I kind of agree with everyone else that Nuka would probably be not such a good leader, however, to give him the benefit of the doubt, if he's that determined to gain his mother's love and respect, if he could channel that same desire to winning over his pride members, than he might very well be a very attentive king indeed. One who would do anything and everything to make his subjects love and adore him. While I don't see that actually happening myself, it's still a possibility. ^^

I dont think so... he is immature and jumbled. He is funny, so it's a secondary character.

I agree with KM. If Nuka does become king he well be kinda like Scar but however he well be a very attentional king to so i select *Eh..*
