Hey guys, i was just taking screen shots when i noticed in the stampede scene, when Scar grabs Mufasa, there are slight lines of blood where Scar dug his claws into Mufasa's paws. Anyone notice this?

This has been discussed before, and yes it is most definitely blood. You can actually see Scar's claws ripping into his skin. On the contrary, the lines on Simba's paws during the end battle scene are merely stretch marks, which explains a little of why he didn't yelp with pain as Mufasa did. As you can see here, Scar's claws are just stretching Simba's skin since the "scratch" lines are exactly the same color as his outline:

Poor Muffy... imagine having sharp claws dig into your flesh while the weight of your own body drags them in further.... *shudders*

Yup, I remember a thread on this a while back =) It's definitely clear from the pictures that Scar had a much tighter grip on Mufasa.

I guess Mufasa is heavier than Simba, which is why he draws blood.

Here you can clearly see the blood from when Simba scrached Shenzi on the cheek.

Banzai also has a red rump after Mufasa scratches it XD

yeah i know those refferences but i didnt notice with the stampede scene

Wow... For some reason, blood creeps me out... But why would Disney EVER show blood in a kids' movie? I just don't get it!
