...I thought that was actually delivered well.
He came off perfectly as the innocent but somewhat overconfident and boastful kid-type we all know. How was he bad?

He seemed fine to me! Not a fantastic actor but he's just a kid; kids are still learning at that point. For what it's worth, I think he pulled it off quite nicely. (Assuming, of course, we're talking about the actor who originated the role on Broadway. If we're talking of anyone since, I can't be of much of an opinion.)

Are you talking about the original actor? Because the younger roles have changed actors the most. We've probably all seen different actors playing young Simba.

When I saw it in Madison, I actually thought he did a great job. And I'm not just saying that because his costume was cute
