The "relationship" between Kiara and Timon&Pumbaa

Yesterday I watched SP and what kinda surprised me (even after so many times watching I still discover new stuff) is that the bond Kiara has with Timon and Pumbaa, is almost the opposite of the bond Simba has with them.
Where this duo are the best friends of Simba, they seem to be a burden to Kiara. Where Simba is amused by their little "discussions", Kiara seems to be annoyed by them.
Did anyone notice this as well?

I did notice that. It's probably because they were telling Kiara not to do stuff lol. Just like Zazu when he was supervising Simba and Nala as cubs.

Yep, and Simba and Nala were annoyed by Zazu as kids :P the circle continues :mega:
But when Kiara grows up, she seems to have a good moment with them chasing birds.... but when she goes out for a hunt, she's pretty p.ssed off at them :P

lol, that's probably just because for Kiara, Timon and Pumbaa were just babysitters, someone put in charge to look after her, or in Kiara's eyes, ruin her chances of having fun. ^^ For Simba, Timon and Pumbaa were more like buddies who he could play with and have fun with. Both situations were different too. When Simba met Timon and Pumbaa, it was all about the life of Hakuna Matata. For Kiara however, Timon and Pumbaa aren't really the same as when they were back when Simba met them for the first time. Even they sort of changed a little and take their jobs as babysitters seriously (somewhat...) lol. :)

i agreeing with everyone ealse on. kiara probaly views timone and pumbaa as babysitters who stop from exploring and having as a cub so she wouldent appreciate thiere presence quite as simba would

Also keep in mind that Kiara's a girl, and a girly one at that. ;) Whereas cubby Simba was amused by their antics and didn't seem to mind that much even when Pumbaa "passed gas" during Hakuna Matata (0.o).. Kiara gets pretty annoyed by their presence as a cub anyway. Also in the beginning of the movie Timon says to Pumbaa " I'm telling ya, buddy... it's gonna be like old times. You, me... and the little guy" implying that if she's a girl she's probably not going to be as tolerant of their weirdness as a male cub would be lol. Not trying to sound sexist but that's just my two cents. :P

I agree with you on that one.... Maybe Simba was like their pal, and now Timon and Pumbaa became more "mature", they see the cub as a child and not as adults like them, since their pal Simba has grown up as well.

Either that, or they take it seriously because their old pal Simba told them to

Maybe so. But I did see her having fun with them (along with Kovu). As an adult, I saw Kiara giggle by finding them amusing for trying to scare away the birds. After Kovu cries out "What a Blast!", and Pumbaa took it litterally thinking he farted, we see everyone had a good laugh (including Kiara). Their could be some friendship between them. No matter what.

True. I suppose she just got annoyed with them at first because they were keeping her from doing what she wanted to do. Once they started being fun, her attitude changed.
