OK, this is just a random question that popped into my head..

After excperiencing the wildebeest stampede.. do you think Simba lost his taste for them? Do you think he had an issue with them after this?

Knowing Simba, he probably thought twice about ever hunting them, but I don't think he'd refuse altogether when he became an adult.

I doubt it. When you gotta eat, you gotta eat. ^^

Hard to say, since he never encounters wildebeest ever again in any of the three films. :P I'd think he'd be hesitant to eat them again, since even when he's an adult he still has dreams about the stampede, so obviously it's not something he would forget in a hurry. Also when he names various animals he would like to eat in Timon and Pumbaa's jungle, he mentions zebras, antelope, and hippos, but not wildebeest. Or maybe he just wasn't hungry for them at the time lol. ^^

LOL I thought this was another one of these new flaw threads :lol2:

Meh, I think he'd avoid encountering them, but he'd definitely eat them. NOM

Very interesting question ^^
I do remember reading something, a short fan-fiction, or something like that. Where Simba was in the jungle, and at the edge of the jungle there was a plain with a herd of Wildebeest there, and Simba went every night to watch them, but he was too scared to hunt them.
Anyways, eventually hunger took over and he chased them, realizing that they were nothing to be afraid of, they were more scared than he was :)

I honestly don't think Simba would have any fears about Wildebeests. I think his main trauma was from Scar, rather than the stampede itself. Seeing how he (apparently) lived off insects for the majority of his life spent in the jungle and clearly after becoming King, he wouldn't ever have to hunt for himself, I doubt Simba would have any qualms with them and probably ate numerous of wildebeest there after. :)

:ew: No.

Anyway, I personally think he would not want to hunt them himself, but being a male and leader of his pride, that’s not an issue for him.
When it comes to eating them, I think it took a long time for him to be able to do it, but I think he did eventually. For him, like KM mentioned, it would be a big change to go back to a diet of meat after so long of eating only bugs..

SH: That sounds like a nice story. :) I would definatly imagine that Simba would have a problem with being around wildebeest after what happened. Eventhough Scar planned it, and he threw Mufasa down in the gorge, it was technicly the wildebeest who killed Mufasa: They trampled him to death.

This is interesting. :) I don't think he would really, but I am assuming it would bring back some bad memorie from the stampede. ^^ I don't think Simba would loose taste in hunting and eating wildebeest, probably running with them, he'd think twice about. LOL. :)
