				Hey guys.
Some people know that when Kovu sighs after Zira falls into the river, he has his scar missing, right?
http://www.mylionking.com/resources/sit ... ab_924.jpgWell, that is why:
http://www.mylionking.com/resources/sit ... ab_608.jpgDisney flipped the image, added the shading and pasted it!
Lazy Disney.

Why o why are people looking after faults in this movie all the time? All movies have some faults and no one is perfect. Calling Disney lazy isnt the right word either.

Animators tend too do this all the time. Do you know how much effort it takes too make an animated film?

As far as I know this is a TLK forum and Moka has no problem with us discussing this. Pointing out flaws in the film is perfectly acceptable as long as no one breaks any of the rules. These mistakes don't make us think any less of Disney, we're simply showing each other errors we noticed in the animation. So if you find these kinds of topics offensive maybe you shouldn't be reading them.

BURRRRRRRN!!

Ahh -- I always figured the animators had just forgotten to include his scar; I never noticed that that animation was reused. Interesting find.

I opened the two files up in Photoshop and noticed slight differences in the two images. The animators most likely used the first as a reference while drawing the second and forgot to add the scar.
Nonetheless, excellent find!

Alot of animations do that! Like one time my brother spot this one.... In Sponge Bob Squarepants Squidward was holding this shell but when they did a close up on it it showed Sponge Bob holding the shell! It was strange!
