lol, Kiara's discovered an invisible surface to brace against. I honestly think that whole scene is pretty much fail. Zira can't grab Kiara's paws cause lions can't grab, in the zoomed out shot the distance between Zira and Kiara is greater than in the close up shots, and there was no way Simba could've helped Kiara up by holding his paw out for her to grab it. and the logs sticking straight up in the water like they're in mud after the river's calmed down and Zira's gone is also pretty much not supposed to happen.

so I guess this just adds to the list of problems with that scene...lol, they didn't even put any pads on her paw.

I think it's obvious now. Kiara is superman in disguise.

It's either some very bad shading on disney's part or Kiara can somehow cling on to nothing but air.
Oh well, at least it's only noticable for a few frames.

I saw this mistake pointed out on Lilymud back when the SP Special Edition DVD first came out. There's another similar mistake when Kiara is scampering towards the Outlands. When she is preparing to jump onto the log, the log is underneath her instead of in front of her. I have no idea how these mistakes could have happened, especially when you consider that the VHS version doesn't have them (here's a screenshot of Kiara on the cliff from the SP VHS).
