have any of you wondered what The Lion King would be like if Mufassa's death never occurred?

i actually never thought of that
....maybe it would be just another generic Disney Movie

Mufasa would know Scar was evil and probably banish him from the Pridelands.
Simba would be fearless and wise just like his father instead of stupidly overprotective like he was in SP.
Simba would never have met Timon and Pumbaa...
Kiara would never meet Kovu or any of the Outlanders, since Scar is gone.

I dunno these are just my theories.

Either tho he will be old xD

but it will be good protection to the pride.......

TLK would be kind of bland if Mufasa didn't die...

The story is based on Hamlet, where Simba the prince retakes the kingdom righteously from his evil, undeserving uncle Scar. That's what makes it interesting. =)

Yes, totally agreed with Moka on this one. ^^ Mufasa's death was a key point in the storyline of TLK and if you take that out, the whole thing falls apart, so as much as I hate to say it, Mufasa's death was for the grater good. ^^

It would be bland, such as Moka said. The story line would of totally been screwed up. But if Mufasa wouldn't of died... he wouldn't of been so harsh on Kiara.. >.>

Yeah, he does have a good point, the story wouldnt be as good if Mufasa never died.

I hope that if Mufasa didn’t die, he’d realize how evil Scar was an banish him, like Amanda said. I think Simba would have become a much greater king, and be more confident and strong and believe more in himself. I still think he would have struggled to become like his father, though. He tried that from when he was a little cub.

Simba and Nala would have gotten married, since that was pretty much arranged, hehe.

When it comes to the Outlanders, I feel uncertain. They were most likely from the same pride as Simba. So they would still be around, but it’s not for sure that Kiara and Kovu would fall in love.
