My Lion King Forum

I was looking on a collectors site about lion king stuff, and I found out about some books i've never seen before, one of them was called the cave monster (see picture) it's about young nala and simba in a cave, i dont know more.....

"no worries" is about adult Simba and T&P in the jungle, that's all I know. Do some of you own these books? Know anything more about these stories?

I've heard of them before, but I don't remember much and I don't have them. but I know they've been mentioned on a site or so that I've been on.

There are a lot of these "Little Golden Books" that many of us haven't even heard of. I haven't heard of these two books. And why is Simba licking the mud?

I really don't know. Of both books was only 2 pictures taken, should I post the photo's here? Maybe that gives us more information about Simba licking the mud.

(It looks like it was water, but Pumbaa has been, erhm, messing in it)

Simba's lapping the water. Pumbaa's just in a shallower part where mud forms much easier. it looks blue over where Simba's at, just not where Pumbaa is lol. that's the only explanation I can think of.

there's a lot of Lion King books that I never heard of

I've never heard of any of those two books. Good find, I wish I could get my paws on them somehow. The local library where I live has only 2 TLK books which I've already read in its entire collection so that's completely out of the question lol. Still, I'd love to see what these two are about. It's so obvious that the cover pics were heavily referenced from screengrabs and clipart haha.
