Are the characters, um, "clothed"?

Someone wrote this to me on youtube, when I posted on an upload of CYFTLT of how Nala and Simba's falling in love scene was made provacative by the fact that they're naked.
"They're "wearing" fur, actually. So they're pretty well dressed I'd say"
What would you say? Are the cast "dressed"? I like thinking of them as naked, personally.
Of course, either way, it makes the hot pool scene in 1.5 either VERY suggestive (3 guys in a pool naked?) or VERY uncomfortable looking (sitting in a pool while dressed?).

I see them kinda as we see dogs! I guess they are naked, but its different for them then us. Its like going to the beach, people are always half naked, but no one seems to care. And thats how I see the cast!
I guess you could count the fur as clothing, and thats kinda how I see it. It seems like a bathing suit, only its on all the time. That would help ex plane the pool scene at least!

*blink* They're wild animals... Clothes are for humans.

In fact, humans are the only creatures on the entire planet to wear clothing. Of course it won't apply to lions.

They aren't clothed, they are animals. Disney did not make some TLK Anthro version of the movie.

This sort of topic is rather suggestive in and of itself, and probably shouldn't be allowed here, just to prevent things from getting out of hand. But I won't lock this, yet.
So, to answer your question: no, they're not clothed. They're lions. They don't wear clothes.
But, that being said, they're not naked, either. They have no such concept. They talk and sing like humans, but they are still animals.

The reason why CYFTLT can be considered provocative is because of Nala's facial expressions.

It's not suggestive. If it was, then it wouldn't be in a Disney movie.

I think the hot pool scene was awkward for Timon and Simba because they realized what was causing the pool to have the warm bubbles, and not because of other reasons.

Well, yeah... they are naked, but, honestly, I see nothing bad about this. The fur they have (I can't really say wear) is beautiful and very much enough. I can't imagine great deal of wild animals running clothed, blah, blah. Honestly, that would seem ridiculous to me. That's weird for humans to run around naked, but not for lions. That's just how it is, and if that's that way, then the whole TLK movie could be considered provocative. Yeah, right.

Like this comment if any of these happened to you when Nala made that 'come hither' look:
1. You fell in love
2. Your heart melted
3. You fainted
4. You cried
5. You outright died because... come on, look at her... If looks could kill... Nala would be classified as WMD and probably also get outlawed by the Geneva convention.

You know how during events like Halloween, where a special dress code applies and you can just dress up as literally anything you want and it will all be considered normal? Same thing applies here in the movies, except for that the special dress code applies forever and as a result, everyone's used to it.
At least, that's how I look at it.
I may need to come up with a better analogy...
