Unlike most threads: this one is to stop the spam in other threads; so this thread would be a good place to tell us about your favourite characters, scenes, songs etc.

So I will start off with this question; have you ever watched a film or TV show an unexpectedly recognised one of the characters is voiced by a TLK character and thought "OMG its *insert character here*!!!!!"? if so what was it and who? :)

I was watching Inspector Gadget, and realized "Whoa that's Simba!" I started freaking out. I was about 9 and I almost cried! XD
Kudos to me being Hardcore Lion King fan!

When I watched "The Cable Guy" for the first time, I already knew that Matthew Broderick was in the movie along with Jim Carrey and one of my favorite scenes is Medieval Times. When they were fighting in the arena, I just kept thinking "Simba .vs. The Grinch" lol . Later, I was surprised that Andy Dick was in that scene playing the role of the announcer, so I was like "OMG, Nuka!" xD

Nathan Lane is just ruined for me. The other voiceactors (with the possible exception of Ernie Sabella for the same reason,) I can seperate the actor's roles from the voice its happening and it doesn't jar, like whoever JEJ is playing in whatever I'm watching is who he's playing, I don't think "oh, Mufasa". But Nathan Lane. I cannot HEAR his voice without *click*, just getting this screaming reaction in my brain going "TIMON! IT'S TIMON!" And it's a grevious thing, because it's not like Nathan Lane hasn't done very well for himself, he's in a ton of stuff. But between the voice, and the typecast of a fast-talker in so many things he does....I hear him & he's Timon to me. In this overwhelming way that doesn't happen with all the other voicecast. He just is. Or Timon is him in the first place, lol. But it's damage done!

I am pretty much guilty of associating the actor's voices with their LK characters. I can't help it. I can still enjoy the film the actor is in but yes, I do this a lot. I cannot help but laugh when I am watching "Cable Guy" and the adult game part comes out. I am sorry, but imagining Simba saying those lines, i can't help it. I lose it!

I remember I tried to watch M. Butterfly when I was about 11 or 12 because I knew Jeremy Irons was in it and I wanted to see who the voice actor of Scar looked like. I already knew who Robin Williams was because of Mrs. Doubtfire. I guess that is what started it.

Whenever I hear James Earl Jones or Jeremy Irons I always have to think of Mufasa and Scar respectively. x]
Like when I saw this trailer to this lion documentary/film it was voiced by Jeremy Irons and I kept on imagining it was Scar talking. :B

I believe "The Last Lions" was that documentary Jeremy narrated, I assume. I do hope to check it out soon.
