So I was just searching my Lion King dvd for something when I came across 2 early concepts for the film, which funnily enough, I had never seen before...or heard about. These are called..

Timon and Pumba find Simba

Simba's Presentation

Simba's Presentation was the more interesting one, it takes place right at the beginning of the film, there was no Circle of Life yet and instead the characters have dialogue. Its really old, it was back when the title of the film was 'King of The Jungle' (O.o). Thought it was pretty interesting that Zazu nor Sarabi knew who Rafiki was....they thought he was some lunatic coming to ruin the ceremony (lol), but I cant say I blame them for the entrance he made....which was just randomely laughing.
You even see Scar, he was standing at the edge of a high cliff somewhere, then turned to walk away....it looked like Mufasa was looking up at him, and had a sad look on his face.

The opening with Circle of Life was clearly much better, but I still just love stuff like this, they really should give us more (much better than silly games)

Anyway it might be just me who had no clue about these, but I thought I'd start a thread anyway and see what you guys thought about them :]

Hm. That's interesting, I don't remember those. And I've been all over those dvd extras. I think it's time to go a-searchin' again!

That's crazy xD I'd liked to of seen more of Sarabi talking But I really love the Circle of life and I'm glad they kept that in ^^

I herd about that =) But I've never seen anything about it :S Is there anywhere I could find it?

Hmm... never heard of that before. Sounds interesting. I'll remember to look for that next time I decide to watch TLK.

That's very interesting, so I went and found it myself on my DVDs ^^
I like how Zazu freaks out when Rafiki appears, it suits his character
Although, it is a little odd that neither Zazu or Sarabi knew who Rafiki was, lol
