If scar was not Kovu's father, who else was?

This has been discussed before, yes. But I dont think it really had its own thread, we just discussed it in an off topic way in various other threads.
but yeah, it tells you in TLK2 that Scar was not the father of Kovu, so who else do you think was? Or is it just someone that we do not know about?
Furthermore, if it is a lion that we do not see in the films, then why do you think he disappeared and left Kovu?

I personally go with my own little theory that it's Scar. Just because it makes the most sense. Zira is too loyal to Scar to go sleep with a random rogue lion. (Maybe not if we were just talking about random lions, but this is a
Disney lion with a
personality.
) The description of the DVD I rented a long time ago described Kovu as Scar's son, even though that in itself doesn't mean much. But you know they only said Kovu's not Scar's son because people would think it was weird that Kiara is Kovu's second cousin. But still. Scar. So there.

Since we know it wasn`t Scar, it was most likely a rogue, or perhaps a younger male from Scar`s pride.
