				"We Are One" Kiara's singing

I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for saying this, but I don't really like Kiara's singing in "We Are One". Don't get me wrong, she has a nice voice, but the intonation issues are quite noticeable in my opinion. Her singing is sharp and it doesn't sound very good with the instrumental. I think that if the intonation was improved, the song would be much better. I still think it's the best song in SP though.

Don't worry you won't get hated for that lol. But I do have to respectfully disagree. I thought Kiara did a great job with her singing role. But we're all entitled to our opinions, so, Hakuna Matata.

I had no problem with Kiara's solo in the song, but I do think I can catch the intonation during her solo. However, I don't think it needs to be improved upon since her solo was only about less than 30 seconds; it wouldn't make a difference to the song.
But, I do agree with you that "We are One" is the best song in the film.

Ah yes, "We Are One" is the best song in SP...I never minded Kiara's singing voice and her line actually has a very special place in my heart. I was about 13 when SP came out and really related to Kiara's struggle to "be herself". I used to sing along with the song, especially Kiara's part.
Typical teen angst, I guess.

I don't really like Kiara in the song for the simple reason that it makes a sudden contrast to Simba's deeper voice. So I am enjoying the song (and my listening habits translate me to getting to Kiara after several minutes) and Whoa, whoa, whoa! What's up with that?
It's not bad, and if I am aware that Kiara is coming up, I don't mind her, but the simple vocal difference between Simba and Kiara catches me off-guard more often than not.

Same here. I
always sing along to "We Are One", especially Kiara's part. It's actually my favorite part of the song. *points to avvie* So, yeah. I don't mind the change between Simba and Kiara's voices at all.

I loved when she sang her part, I actually wanted her to sing more. Like the others said, I also sing along to Kiara's part, cause I'm such a teenager. Lol.

I love the song, and I guess I don't have a problem with the singing. It's better than mine, that's for sure.

I actually like the contrast with the deeper and higher voices singing together.

I think she has a nice voice for someone so young. I love the song "We Are One" (my favourite from SP) and I enjoy listening to it in different languages.

She is most definitely a bit sharp there; to a trained ear it does stand out. I don't think it's conflicting with the instruments, I enjoy the vocals and the bass interplaying. I still enjoy her part, it definitely gives the song a bit of needed variety. Man, do I love that bass fill quoting "or am I just one part" ... whoever did bass for TLK, please come jam with me...
