What you think about Simba's decision, when he exiled Kovu?

Before you answer, you should consider Simba’s view (even if you don’t like him)
Right? ;)

Honestly, I support him because he didn’t know what really happened and in his view Kovu lied and cheated on him.
Simba tried to know Kovu and accept him, but Zira intervened… and Kovu couldn’t say what really happened…
and even if Kovu could speak with him, Simba couldn't know if Kovu was telling the truth...
I feel sad for Kovu. But if I were Simba, I would do the same.

As much as I love Simba, I personally don't think his decision to exile Kovu was fair. As everyone else will say, he didn't even bother to listen to Kovu's side of the story which is true. But, also, remember that Simba accused Kovu for planning the ambush, which is false. Kovu had more evidence that just claiming he didn't plan the ambush to defend himself.

During the talk, Simba was obviously leading the direction in which they walked. Kovu just followed along listening to his words, and it doesn't appear at all he told Simba where to go as if he was planning to walk Simba right into the ambush. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the ambush took place in or near the boundaries of the Outlands. So, Simba walked straight into the ambush all by himself. So what was Simba thinking going near there when he knows the Outsiders hated his guts?

But, yes, from Simba's perspective, he was just trying to protect his daughter and his pride, but I would have appreciated a little more justice.

I agree.

I can understand why Simba would be wary of Kovu at first, but he should let Kovu explain his side of the situation.

I agree too, but I don't think Simba would believe in Kovu if he explain his side...
