So apparently they're showing TLK on the Swedish Disney Channel this Xmas! Yay! Are they doing that where you guys are at as well? Or will they be doing it anytime soon?

It's so typical of me to get all excited over this even though I have the Blu-ray It's never been shown on TV here as far as I know

Lawl, Actually I saw that TLK 2 and TLK were on Saturday or Sunday, not sure what channel though, but I only saw the end of the two.

It's on Disney Cinemagic in HD on Christmas here, too *_*

The Lion King hasn't been scheduled to be aired on Disney Channel in the United States yet, as far as I am concerned. I checked my DVR and IMDb.com for any television airings within this current week, and it listed no results.

I'm fairly certain there are several movies that aren't allowed to air on the US Disney Channel. TLK, Pinocchio, Snow White, Bambi are a few I recall. I'll try to find where I read that, but I think their reasoning was that they're the best of Disney and shouldn't be subject to a television viewing?? I didn't understand it when I read it either.

haha I saw it on DC like 1 month ago or soemthing, they televised the three ones, but I could see the first =/, it was almost ending, so the next day the televised SP and hakuna matata, and I saw them =)

That's really weird, these have all been aired on the Swedish Disney Channel and as far as I know it has only made them more popular and appreciated.

I'm just so excited about The Lion King airing on TV, everytime I see the advert I can't help but smile

Today while out Christmas shopping with my Mother TLK 2 was playing on a big screen. And I was not focusing on anything but the movie mouthing all the words. I must of looked like a freak! HAHAHA. My mom was like "Stop gettin so distracted!"
It's not everyday you see your fave movie being played in one of the most popular stores in the town! But no one else seemed as interested and mesmerised by the film..ahh people, what are you gunna do!?

In a way I wish they were playing TLK on TV for christmas... that gives everyone the opportunity to appreciate the absolute magic of TLK. But yeah...they most likely won't Oh well!!!

I don't think they are here in America anywhere, but if they did, I would totally DVR it!

Actually I was just watching Snow White on the US Disney Channel a few weeks ago....
