It's that scene where Rafiki finds out that Simba is alive. In his excitement, he quickly adds a crude mane to Simba's wiped paining on the tree.

But as he does that, the paint is added over a much larger area than his finger. In fact, it looks like when you pain in Photoshop or Gimp, where the added color is applied over an area larger then the cursor on the screen. With a computer, that's fine. They're made to do that.

But how does Rafiki manage the effect with his finger? Is Mufasa helping spread the paint?

This is a funny detail, it does seem like there's more color added than how far his fingers reach. However,he is moving his fingers in a more zigzag pattern than just a straight stroke, so the color spreads more than you'd get with just a line.

If Rafiki can smell bits of grass and conclude that Simba is alive, then I'd say he should be able to use his magical powers to use computers too.

The tree is a touch screen, he has MS paint open, he clicked file >open > Simba > chose a brush and then painted the mane on.
Pay attention to the plot at least, OP.
